EARLY HEAD START
Early Head Start is a federally funded program serving expectant mothers, infants, and toddlers through 3 years of age for income eligible families. We have a center based program that is located at the Highland County Community Action building. We also have a Home Based program in which weekly home visits will take place in your home.
Our goal is to enhance the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of infants and toddlers, to support parents as the most important teachers, to enhance the bond between parent and child, and to provide educational information and referral services to pregnant women.
Our program is FREE and to qualify you must meet certain income guidelines.
If you are interested in finding out more about Early Head Start, please fill out the application below and return it with your proof of income to the Early Head Start office at the Highland County Community Action building.
