Early Head Start Home Visitor
Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. has a position for a Home Visitor a community-based program for low-income families with infants and toddlers and pregnant women. Its mission is to promote healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, to enhance the development of very young children, and to promote healthy family functioning.
Desire candidates with an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Social Services preferred. Additional education may be required after hire. Previous experience/certification in the Parents as Teachers curriculum a plus.
The applicants must possess or have the ability to obtain promptly a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License, and they must be insurable. Positions require the ability to stoop, bend and push, as well as lift up to 40 pounds. HCCAO offers a fringe benefit package that includes paid holidays, personal leave days, and sick leave.
