SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGERS
Bell Ringers Needed (Volunteers & Paid Positions) The Holidays are just around the corner. Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. is seeking individuals who wish to help “Ring The Bell” outside of WalMart and Krogers in Hillsboro and Community Markets in Greenfield. While we seek individual or business volunteers, there are also paid positions for those looking to make a little extra cash this season. This opportunity is made possible through the Salvation Army with the majority of proceeds staying local to help others within our community. Bell ringers will receive minimum wage for standing outside, in all types of weather and ringing the bell while encouraging individuals to place a donation in the kettle. The ringing should focus particularly on the weekends and evenings between Thanksgiving and Christmas. However, day ringing can occur as well. Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. Job Position Available
The Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Dietitian to work for our Family Health Services Department.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, certifying eligible participants for the Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program including developing individual care plans, charting, nutrition assessments, home visits, as well as assisting with Health clinics on occasion. This position may work in both our Hillsboro and Greenfield offices. The position is for 32-40 hours per week. Working hours are generally between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Applicant must be a Licensed Dietician with current license, excellent administrative, communication and supervisory skills. Computer experience is necessary. Applicants for this position must be able to work well with people of all ages and all socioeconomic backgrounds, have a positive attitude as well as have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and be insurable under the agency fleet insurance policy. Experience in the area of Maternal and Child Health would be a plus. This position offers a fringe benefit package that includes paid holidays.
