The BY CAR program can assist a person in buying a vehicle for the purpose of going to and from work or school.
How BY CAR works:
- A joint savings account is established between you and Highland County Community Action at a local bank of your choosing
- You establish goals for yourself to deposit in the savings account each month
- When you reach your established goal you receive matching funds ($2 match for every $1 you saved) to purchase a vehicle
