Winter Crisis Program – HEAP
The emergency HEAP Winter Crisis Program assists households that have a total gross income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Summer Crisis Program
The Summer Crisis Program generally runs from July 1 through August 31. In 2009, the program was able to provide up $175.00 in electric assistance for qualified households.

Food Pantry
The food pantry provides 3 meals per household member for a 3 day supply of food.

Housing Payment Assistance
The Housing Payment Assistance program can help pay part of a past due rent or mortgage payment.

Minor Needs
The minor needs program can assist with almost any crisis need that is durable for 30 days or more.

Highland Appalachian Transportation System – HATS
Highland Appalachian Transportation System (HATS) assists Highland County residents age 60 or older to and from medical appointments.

BY CAR
The BY CAR program can assist a person in buying a vehicle for the purpose of going to and from work or school.
